Six Football Players Named to NFF Hampshire Honor Society

Student-athletes recognized for maintaining 3.2 GPA for entire career
IRVING, Texas – Six members of the University of New Hampshire football team were selected to the 2019 National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society, which was announced Wednesday.
Trevon Bryant (St. Augustine, Fla.), John DiCaro (Dallas, Texas), Jared Kuehl (Plymouth, N.H.), Kyle Reisert (Plymouth, N.H.), Cam Smith (Medway, Mass.) and Ryan Sosnak (Bethel Park, Pa.) were each feted for maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or better throughout their entire college careers.

"We are pleased to see another record number of athletes honored by the Hampshire Honor Society this year," said NFF President & CEO Steve Hatchell. "For more than a decade, it has become a powerful vehicle for schools to recognize their college football players who have distinguished themselves both academically and athletically, and we congratulate the schools and each of these young men for their commitment to excellence in all aspects of their lives."
The UNH football program has advanced to the NCAA Division I FCS playoffs in 14 of the past 15 seasons. With 98 career CAA victories, head coach Sean McDonnell is the winningest active coach in the league and No. 3 all-time in conference history. He is one victory ahead of his mentor, NFF College Football Hall of Famer and Wildcat coaching legend Bill Bowes.
The UNH football program concludes its spring schedule with the annual Blue-White Spring Game on Saturday, May 4 (12 p.m.) at Wildcat Stadium.
