Four Wildcats Named to NFF Hampshire Honor Society

IRVING, Texas – Four student-athletes on the University of New Hampshire football team were named to the 2026 NFF Hampshire Honor Society on Wednesday by the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame. The honored Wildcats are Tim Bonagura (Fremont, N.H.), Denin Limouris (Glen Ellyn, Ill.), Myles Thomason (Montclair, N.J.) and Chase Wilson (Lake Charles, La.).
Celebrating its 20th year, the NFF Hampshire Honor Society has recognized 23,568 student-athletes from 691 schools since 2007. The 2026 class, which includes a record 2,596 players from 365 schools, represents the largest group in the program's history and underscores the sustained academic achievement taking place across all levels of college football.
Created in 2007, the NFF Hampshire Honor Society is one of the most comprehensive scholar-athlete initiatives in college athletics, recognizing football players from all divisions who have maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or higher throughout their college careers.

Bonagura and Thomason were both named to the College Sports Communicators 2025-26 Academic All-District Team for football. Thomason was selected to the 2025 FCS Athletics Directors Association Academic All-Star Team.
Limouris received High Honors with Distinction from CAA Football in 2025 for recording a perfect 4.0 GPA in the fall semester. Bonagura and Thomason both received High Honors and Wilson received Honors recognition.
Bonagura, who graduated with a 3.91 GPA in Business Administration, played all 13 games with six starts in the 2025 season. The defensive tackle recorded 31 total tackles with a breakdown of 10 solo stops and 21 assisted. Bonagura's other stats included 3.5 tackles with one sack, two pass breakups and a fumble recovery.
Limouris, who graduated with a 3.87 GPA in Business Administration, played in 11 games with two starts. The tight end caught one pass – a four-yard touchdown reception at North Carolina Central.
Thomason, who graduated with a 3.66 GPA in Business Administration, was UNH's top ground gainer with 193 rushes for 736 yards and four touchdowns. The senior running back ranked fifth in the CAA in rushes and eighth in rushing yards, as well as seventh in both all-purpose yards (1,229) and punt return average (12.9).
Thomason also ranked third on the team with 30 receptions for 233 yards and a TD. He was UNH's top punt returner with 18 returns for 233 yards – an average of 12.9 yards per return – and had one kickoff return for 27 yards. He averaged a team-high 94.5 all-purpose yards per game.
Wilson, who had a 3.45 GPA while earning an Economics degree, started in 9 of 13 games played. The wide receiver had a team-leading five touchdown receptions while ranking second in both receptions (48) and receiving yards (704). Wilson ranked third in all-purpose yards (704).
