Annual Blue-White Scrimmage Concludes Spring Season

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire football team, under the leadership of first-year head coach Sean Goldrich, concluded the spring season with the annual Blue-White Scrimmage at Wildcat Stadium on May 2.

Captains
- The four captains for the 2026 season were announced prior to the game. The distinguished Wildcat leaders are redshirt sophomore linebacker Trevor Barry (Elma, N.Y.), senior offensive lineman Beau Riley (Sebring, Fla.), senior safety Jackson Stone (Lebanon, N.H.) and senior tight end Colby Ramshaw (Londonderry, N.H.), who is a captain for the second consecutive year.

- Single-game tickets and parking will go on sale Monday, June 1 at 10am.

Rushing
- Senior running back Myles Thomason (Montclair, N.J.) led the ground game with nine rushes for 44 yards (4.9 yards/rush).
- Redshirt sophomore running back Drew Laplante (Plainville, Mass.) carried the ball eight times for 23 yards (2.9 yards/rush).
- The team amassed 63 yards on 22 carries (2.9 yards/rush).
Passing
- Redshirt sophomore Tommy McLeish (Norfolk, Mass.) completed 9 of 12 passes for 126 yards and a touchdown.
- Senior Brooks Bentley (Venice, Fla.) completed 6 of 11 passes for 49 yards and a TD.
- Three quarterbacks combined for 18 of 27 passing for 181 yards and two TDs.
- Those numbers calculated to a 66.7 completion percentage with averages of 10.1 yards per completion and 6.7 yards per attempt.
Receiving
- Sophomore wide receiver Ryan Ricketti (Rocky River, Ohio), a transfer from Valparaiso, led the Wildcats with 47 receiving yards on three catches. He had a TD catch and averaged 15.7 yards per reception.
- Redshirt sophomore wide receiver DaMontre Patterson (Wynnewood, Okla.) had three catches for 34 yards – 11.3 yards per catch.
- Junior wide receiver Logan Perez (Sewell, N.J.) had the other TD catch and finished with three receptions for 22 yards.
- Redshirt freshman wide receiver Seven Bullock (Punta Gorda, Fla.) had one catch for 26 yards.
Defense
- Redshirt sophomore linebacker Matthew Sopp (Beverly, Mass.) led all Wildcats with five tackles, including three solo stops. Sopp was credited with one tackle for loss.
- Five other 'Cats finished with four tackles – redshirt sophomore safety Cohen Cook (Somers Point, N.J.), senior safety Jackson Stone (Lebanon, N.H.), junior cornerback Sean Webb (San Diego, Calif.), sophomore safetyKason Colvin-Powell (Lutz, Fla.) and redshirt freshman defensive tackle Sean Hickey (North Attleboro, Mass.).
- Hickey had a team-high two tackles for loss, including a sack.
- Webb was also credited with one of the team's two pass breakups.
Field Goals
- A pair of UNH kickers attempted – and made – three field goals in succession.
- Redshirt sophomore Lucas Glassburn (Windermere, Fla.), a transfer from Temple, connected from 36, 38 and 43 yards.
- Junior Dillon Schlopy (Houston, Texas) made his attempts from 33, 40 and 43 yards.
Punting
- Incumbent punter Matt Guidebeck (North Reading, Mass.) averaged 43.7 yards on three punts. The junior recorded a long of 47 yards.
- Redshirt sophomore Greg Motorny (Marblehead, Mass.) averaged 36.0 yards on three punts with a long of 39.

Team Awards: 2026 Spring Season
- The prestigious Todd Walker Teammate Award, which is an annual UNH football honor established in 2011 to recognize a player who best exemplifies teammate spirit, work ethic and a positive attitude – someone who puts the team before himself, acts as a great teammate, and displays high character.
- This year's recipient of the Todd Walker Teammate Award is senior tight end Drew Danson (Wrentham, Mass.).
