UNH hosts league championship at Whittemore Center
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire gymnastics team prepares to host the 2019 EAGL Championship, presented by the Mall at Fox Run, at the Whittemore Center on Saturday, March 23 (2 p.m.). The Wildcats will compete for the league title against George Washington, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Pittsburgh and Towson. UNH seeks to win its third EAGL crown and its first since captivating its fans at the Whitt in 2014.

LAST TIME OUT
- UNH scored a 195.050 and placed third in a five-team meet at Towson University on Sunday, March 17. Maryland (196.450) and George Washington (196.025) took first and second place, respectively. The 'Cats defeated Towson (194.000) and Pittsburgh (193.850).
- Hailey Lui (Collegeville, Pa.) matched her personal best on floor exercise (9.875) to share second with Pittsburgh's Jordan Ceccarini.
- Nicole O'Leary (Newtown, Conn.) earned a podium finish on vault with a score of 9.850 to tie for third. Danielle Mulligan (Farmingdale, N.Y.) achieved a score of 9.825 on the uneven bars to share fifth.
- Emma Winer (Georgetown, Mass.) shared fourth place on floor with a 9.850 while Ava Watkins (Cherry Hill, N.J.) tied for ninth on the event with a 9.800.
NOTES
- With a National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 195.590, UNH is ranked No. 33 nationally in this week's RoadToNationals.com poll. The top 36 teams in the nation will qualify for the NCAA Regional Championships following the conclusion of the regular season this weekend. The Wildcats are assured of a berth in the Regionals for the 36th time in the last 38 years.
- The NCAA Selection Show is scheduled for Monday, March 25. UNH will be invited to compete in one of four regional sites April 4-6: Ann Arbor Regional (Michigan); Athens Regional (Georgia); Corvallis Regional (Oregon State); or Baton Rouge Regional (LSU).
- Mulligan is currently ranked No. 2 in EAGL in all-around (39.285 NQS). The senior is ranked No. 1 in EAGL on uneven bars (9.895) and balance beam (9.860). The Farmingdale, N.Y, native has finished in first place 25 times this season, which includes two vault victories, 10 wins on bars, four on beam, one victory on floor exercise and eight all-around titles.
- O'Leary is tied for fifth in EAGL in vault (9.815), while Watkins shares fourth in EAGL on floor with a 9.850 NQS, and Winer shares seventh in EAGL on the event with a 9.845 NQS.

•The UNH gymnastics program is now accepting sign-ups for its 2019 summer camps. Professional training in a safe, fun and productive environment will see young gymnasts receive the best instruction available at their level. Athletes will be exposed to various teaching techniques, progressions and philosophies from our highly qualified, professional staff.
•Choose from the day camp (June 24-27), high-performance overnight camp (July 5-8) and overnight camp #2 (July 8-11). Per NCAA rules, UNH's camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants (limited by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
