Lui ties career high on floor exercise (9.875) for second straight meet
TOWSON, Md. – Hailey Lui (Collegeville, Pa.) matched her personal best on floor exercise (9.875) for the second straight meet to tie for second place in that event, and the University of New Hampshire gymnastics team scored a 195.050 to finish third in Sunday afternoon's five-team meet hosted by Towson University at SECU Arena.
The University of Maryland won the meet with a 196.450, followed by George Washington (196.025). The Wildcats (18-4, 6-2 EAGL) defeated Towson (194.000) and Pittsburgh (193.850).
Nicole O'Leary (Newtown, Conn.) earned UNH's other podium finish with a 9.850 on vault for a share of third place.

"The team wasn't as clean as we have been over the past few weeks, and I would say it taught us a lesson as to how we need to approach the conference championship next weekend," said UNH head coach Gail Goodspeed.

First Rotation – Vault (48.675) • Running Score (48.675)
•After Danielle Doolin (Medford Lakes, N.J.) stuck her landing for a 9.650 (T-20th) to lead off, Emma Winer (Georgetown, Mass.) scored a 9.750 (T-14th), and Danielle Mulligan (Farmingdale, N.Y.) tallied a 9.775 (13th) to support O'Leary's team-leading score.
Second Rotation – Uneven Bars (48.700) • Running Score (97.375)
•Mulligan anchored the lineup with a 9.825 to tie for fifth place. Ava Watkins (Cherry Hill, N.J.) put up a 9.775 from the second spot in the order to tie for 10th place with the returning Lauren Diggan (Sinking Spring, Pa.), who performed a fine routine after missing the team's previous two meets due to injury.
Third Rotation – Balance Beam (48.650) • Running Score (146.025)
•Riley Freehling (Southington, Conn./9.725, T-17th) and Hannah Baddick (Gettysburg, Pa./9.675, T-21st) started the beam lineup with solid routines before Winer scored a team-leading 9.800 for a share of eighth place. Courtney Bondanza (Buffalo, N.Y.) had a steady and solid 9.75 (T-15th), and Lui anchored with a 9.700 (T-19th).
Fourth Rotation – Floor Exercise (49.025) • Final Score (195.050)
•Lui's personal-best matching floor score highlighted the Wildcats' best score of the meet. Winer tied for fourth place with a 9.850, and Watkins posted a 9.800 to tie for ninth.

Professional training in a safe, fun and productive environment will see young gymnasts receive the best instruction available at their level. Athletes will be exposed to various teaching techniques, progressions and philosophies from our highly qualified, professional staff.
