New Family-friendly Promotions & Giveaways for Students & Kids
DURHAM, N.H. – Giveaways including the official Football Gameday T-Shirt and Wildcat Sunglasses in the Blue Monster Student Section along with a youth parade, skills competitions and postgame autographs are just some of the exciting new elements awaiting fans at the University of New Hampshire football team's home opener against Colgate on Saturday, Sept. 8 (6 p.m.) at Wildcat Stadium.
Youth Football Night, presented by Tuscan Kitchen and Market in Portsmouth, kicks off a season full of family-friendly activities and promotions. UNH Wildcats football combines the elements of the nation's No. 7 national ranking with the premier facility in the region. It is affordable, family entertainment with quality concessions and the finest amenities for fans of all ages, including inflatables for kids in the Rutman 'Cat Pack Plaza and crowd-pleasing performers at every game.
UNH students, who can download tickets directly onto their mobile phone, will be treated to a variety of food and promotional giveaways each game on the all-new Blue Monster Deck.

UNH vs Holy Cross, Saturday, Oct. 6, 12 p.m. – STEM Day
Presented by Core Power High Protein Milk Shake
•Fans will celebrate Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics on STEM Day. Special guests will share interactive STEM demonstrations in Rutman 'Cat Pack Plaza, and fans will have their opportunity to participate in the inaugural Wildcat Egg Drop, an educational and fun activity that introduces kids of all ages to physics, materials science and fluid dynamics. Plus, Core Power will be providing free samples for fans.
UNH vs Stony Brook, Saturday, Oct. 13, 3:30 p.m. – Homecoming
Presented by UniFirst Corporation
•The most anticipated date of the year on the UNH campus is Homecoming, and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever with a full schedule of on-campus activities and special ticket packages for groups to enjoy. Make Wildcat football part of your action-packed lineup of festivities that also includes a campus Walk Through Wellness, a cookout at Hamel Recreation Center and much more available at www.unhwildcats.com/familyweekend. Wear pink to help the Wildcats and Medtronic welcome cancer-awareness groups and celebrate survivors of breast cancer with their families and friends.
UNH vs James Madison, Saturday, Nov. 3, 1 p.m. – 125th Anniversary Game

•The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a complimentary 125th Anniversary Game T-Shirt, and Dr. Pepper will award $10,000 in scholarships to two UNH students on the field at halftime. Take advantage of special $1.25 concession items to commemorate the anniversary of the first game in Wildcats' history (Nov. 4, 1893), and Dr. Pepper will have free samples for fans to enjoy throughout the afternoon.
UNH vs Albany, Saturday, Nov. 10, 1 p.m. – UNH Salutes
Presented by Service Credit Union
•The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a free UNH patriotic baseball cap courtesy of Service Credit Union to display their support for those who serve our country and community. Fans will be greeted by the New Hampshire Patriot Guard Riders, veterans and active military members will be able to use the promo code UNHSALUTES for a special ticket price, and the Wildcat senior class will be honored pregame before taking the field in their home finale. Plus, fans will be eligible for a special UNH prize if they bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the New Hampshire Food Bank, courtesy of Townsquare Media and Service Credit Union.

A crowd of 15,854 filled Wildcat Stadium for the opening game of the 2017 season, which marked the highest-attended home opener in program history. That jump-started a season that witnessed a 13-percent attendance increase from 2016, highlighted by the largest on-campus crowd (22,135) in school history for Homecoming (09/23/17). The Wildcats averaged 12,751 fans per home game (regular season), up from the previous high of 11,108 in the stadium's inaugural campaign. The overall attendance of 63,756 for five home dates eclipsed the regular-season attendance of 55,542 in 2016.
