Mulligan ties all-time best bar score (9.995) to win championship
TOWSON, Md. – Danielle Mulligan (Farmingdale, N.Y.) equaled the highest uneven-bar mark score (9.950) in East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Championship history to win the league bar championship for the second straight year, and the University of New Hampshire gymnastics team locked up an NCAA Regional Championship-sealing 196.300 for second place in the 2018 EAGL Championship at SECU Arena on Saturday.
UNH, which finished runner-up for the fourth straight year, locks in a bid for an NCAA Regional Championship berth for the 35th time in 37 years. North Carolina State scored a 196.625 to win its sixth EAGL Championship, and first since 2013.
Mulligan, the regular-season EAGL uneven bar champion, won the bar championship with her career-high performance and headlined six Wildcats named to the EAGL All-Tournament First Team. She is the first EAGL gymnast to achieve a 9.950 on bars in the championship meet since 2000.

Rotation 1 (Bye)
•The Wildcats opened the meet on a bye.
Rotation 2 (Floor Exercise-49.300)
•UNH exploded for a season-high 49.300 on floor exercise, which led all team scores through one event. Danielle Doolin (Medford Lakes, N.J.) anchored the lineup with an astounding 9.925 to set a personal best and tie for second place. Emma Winer (Georgetown, Mass.) also set a career high with a 9.850, which was matched by Lauren Diggan (Sinking Spring, Pa.) and Danielle Mulligan (Farmingdale, N.Y.) for 12th place. Nicole O'Leary (Newtown, Conn.) capped the consistent lineup with a 9.825, which put UNH in third place overall and tops among teams that had yet to compete two events.
Rotation 3 (Vault-48.900)
•The 'Cats kept the pressure on by tallying a 48.900 on vault to take over sole possession of first place (98.200) midway through the meet. Diggan and Elizabeth Mahoney (Hanson, Mass.) led the way with matching marks of 9.800 (T-13th), while O'Leary and Erin Carroll (Kingston, N.H.) each scored a 9.775. N.C. State (98.125) and Towson (98.100) were the closest pursuers heading into UNH's second and final bye.

•With UNH on bye, George Washington took over first place with a 146.850, followed by Towson (146.775) and Pittsburgh (146.200).
Rotation 5 (Uneven Bars-49.025)
•In addition to Mulligan's championship record-tying performance, and Makenzie Kerouac (Merrimack, N.H.) followed with a 9.850 (T-4th), and Riley Freehling (Southington, Conn.) added a 9.825 (T-7th) to propel the Wildcats to a 49.025 on bars and an overall 147.225, which trailed N.C. State (147.400) among teams that had competed only three events.
Rotation 6 (Balance Beam-49.075)
•Casey Lauter (Northport, N.Y.), EAGL's top-ranked beam competitor during the season, and Courtney Bondanza (Buffalo, N.Y.) each earned All-Tournament First Team by scoring matching marks of 9.850 to earn a share of fourth place. The score tied a personal best for Bondanza. Lia Breeden (York, Pa.) and Freehling earned All-Tournament Second Team by virtue of their scores of 9.800 (T-11th).
