The Wildcats have now won three straight meets
DURHAM, N.H. – Nicole O'Leary (Newtown, Conn.), Lauren Diggan (Sinking Spring, Pa.), Casey Lauter (Northport, N.Y.), and Danielle Mulligan (Farmingdale, N.Y.) all won individual event championships to lead the University of New Hampshire gymnastics team to a victory over Bowling Green State University, 195.650-195.025, Sunday afternoon at Lundholm Gym.
Several UNH gymnasts recorded elite scores in the meet. Diggan recorded a career-high 9.925 on bars, Mulligan notched a career-high 9.900 on floor, and Lauter recorded a 9.925 on beam despite battling the flu.
Head coach Gail Goodspeed has been pleased with the team's performance this season and believes that the best is yet to come.
"Balance beam was amazing and I was really impressed with our performance," said Goodspeed. "I want to get our entire, healthy team on the floor at one time because this team is a mid-196 to even potentially a 197 team. They're awesome and we haven't had the entire team healthy yet this year, so now it's time."
