Mike Robinson makes 33 saves
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Senior assistant captain Ara Nazarian (Boxford, Mass.) and freshman Jackson Pierson (Zionsville, Ind.) each scored for the Wildcats, and sophomore goalie Mike Robinson (Bedford, N.H.) made 33 saves as the University of New Hampshire men's hockey team tied Boston College, 2-2, on Friday night at the Conte Forum.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Wildcats opened up the scoring at 10:23 of the first period when sophomore Max Gildon (Plano, Texas) sent a pass into open traffic to Pierson who was able to direct the puck into the lower stick side of the net from the slot. Sophomore Charlie Kelleher (Longmeadow, Mass.) also tallied an assist on the goal.
- After the end of the first period sophomore Mike Robinson (Bedford, N.H.) had 10 saves while Joseph Woll posted seven. BC went 0-1 on the power play.
- UNH increased its lead to 2-0 with 2:51 left in the second period after junior Anthony Wyse (Newton, Mass.) fired a shot from the slot that bounced off Woll, only to be picked up by Nazarian who was able to send the puck into the lower stick side of the net.
- At the end of the second period Robinson made nine saves to keep BC off the scoreboard, while Woll posted eight. UNH went 0-2 on the power play.
- BC was able to get on the board with 17:41 remaining in the third period when Michael Kim sent a shot on Robinson from the faceoff circle, which then deflected to Jack McBain who found the back of the net, cutting the deficit to 2-1.
- At 13:15 of the third period Logan Hutsko delivered a pass from behind the net to David Cotton who sent a one-timer to the upper glove side of the goal, equalizing the score 2-2.
- Neither the Wildcats or the Eagles were able to score the game winner in overtime leaving the final score 2-2.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Boston College outshot UNH by a 35-31 margin.
- Robinson made 33 saves, while Woll recorded 29.
- The Wildcats went 0-2 on the power play and the Eagles went 0-1.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
- Nazarian scored his fourth goal of the season and 25th of his career. He is currently on a four-game point streak with three goals and one assist for four points. He has netted a goal in three straight games.
- Pierson scored his fourth goal of the season as a freshman. He is currently on a three-game point streak with two goals and one assist for three points.
- Five of the nine games this season for UNH have gone into overtime. The Wildcats are 1-1-3 in those games.
