Diggan Shines as Wildcats Record Season-High 195.925

The Wildcats have now set season-highs in back-to-back meets
DURHAM, N.H. – Freshman Lauren Diggan (Sinking Spring, Pa.) recorded two career highs and placed first on floor exercise as the University of New Hampshire gymnastics program was defeated by George Washington University (196.175-195.925) on Sunday, Jan. 28 at Lundholm Gym.
Junior Danielle Mulligan (Farmingdale, N.Y.) and sophomore Riley Freehling (Southington, Conn.) also set career-highs in the meet.

NEXT HOME MEET

HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST ROTATION
- The Wildcats recorded a 48.800 on vault led by Diggan, who tallied a career-high performance (9.850) and finished the meet in third place. Junior Nicole O'Leary (Newtown, Conn.) posted the second highest score for UNH (9.800) and placed fifth overall.
SECOND ROTATION
- UNH had the top four performers on uneven bars en route to a team score of 49.075, its highest score on bars this season. Freehling, Diggan, Mulligan, and senior Makenzie Kerouac (Merrimack, N.H.) all tied for first place with a score of 9.875.
THIRD ROTATON
- Four Wildcats recorded a 9.800 or above as the team recorded a 49.050 on beam. Lauter finished in third place with a 9.875 while Freehling tied for fourth place (9.850). Junior Courtney Bondanza (Buffalo, N.Y.) recorded a 9.825 and Mulligan notched a 9.800.
FOURTH ROTATION
- Diggan finished in first place with a career-high 9.900 to lead the Wildcats to a season-high team score of 49.000. Senior Lia Breeden (York, Pa.) tied for second with a 9.875 and Mulligan came in fourth place with a 9.850.
WILDCATS NOTEBOOK
- Diggan recorded a career-high on vault (9.850) and floor (9.900), while also matching her career high on bars (9.875).
- Freehling notched a career-high on bars (9.875) and tied her career high on beam (9.850).
- In her first collegiate floor performance, Mulligan recorded a 9.850.
- The Wildcats have the second highest average score on beam in the EAGL conference (48.624).
- 1,471 fans attended the meet as the program attempted to break their home attendance record of 1,856.
