Wildcats Prepare to Face Undefeated Princeton in Sunday Morning Contest

The Matchup with Princeton
- This is only the second time in program history that UNH and Princeton are meeting. The first time was in 1987 when the Wildcats suffered a 2-0 loss.
- UNH comes into the matchup on an away win, after snapping a two-game road losing streak when they defeated Colorado State on Sunday September 4.
- Princeton comes into the weekend having not let up a goal in any game this season, at a perfect 5-0-0 after defeating Rider 2-0 on Thursday evening.

- UNH was selected third in the America East Preseason Coaches' Poll that was released Aug. 9. Hartford and Albany were picked ahead of the Wildcats in the nine-team league.
- UNH opened the season with a 3-0-0 record for the first time since 1991. The Wildcats then suffered two hard losses against Marist College and University of Northern Colorado. But they got back on the winning streak against Colorado State University.
- Senior captain Brooke Murphy (Monson, Mass.), the two-time reigning America East Striker of the Year, has led not only UNH but the conference in both goals and points each of the past two seasons. Murphy has nine points on the season thus far (4g, 1a).
- Kaylan Williams (Marion, Ind.) follows behind Murphy in the point total with five points (2g, 1a). Williams notched the game-winning goal against Colorado State.
- Veronica Hardy (North Smithfield, R.I.) has chipped in so far with four points this season (1g, 2a).
- Liz Lane (Porter, Maine) was one of five Wildcats who started all 19 games a year ago and was named to the conference's All-Rookie Team. This season, Lane has tallied one assist so far.
- Senior goalkeeper Mia Neas (Old Saybrook, Conn.) has tallied a 4-2-0 record so far in her first starting season, after seeing action in only three games prior to this season.

- Brooke Murphy is on the verge of becoming the program leader in both career goals and points.
- The UNH benchmark of 38 goals was established by Diane McLoughlin and has stood since 1990. Murphy is currently tied for the second-most goals in Wildcat history with Chiara Best (2001-04) at 37 goals.
- Murphy now sits at 84 points, just four short of Chiara Best's mark of 88 points established from 2001-04. Currently No. 4 on the all-time list, Murphy is on the heels of Kim Boyle (86; 1993-96) and Diane McLoughlin (87; 1987-90).
