Wildcats Break Tigers' Defense, But Fall Short 3-1

PRINCETON, N.J. – Senior Brooke Murphy (Monson, Mass.) tallied her fifth goal of the season, and the first goal scored on Princeton all season, but the Tigers held on to remain undefeated, defeating the Wildcats 3-1 on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Princeton held position for most of the first half, and tallied their first goal early in the half on a corner kick headed into the back of the net. It was Princeton's third corner kick of the half.
- Murphy's goal tied the game in the beginning of the second half as she stole the pass away from a Princeton defender and fired a shot from nearly 40 yards out.
- Princeton bounced back from allowing their first goal of the season by scoring a goal in the 70th minute and another in the 77th. Both were a result of strong possession inside the UNH 20.
