NEXT HOME MEET
UNH plays host to its final meet of the regular season Sunday, March 5 (1 p.m.) when Ivy League schools Brown University and Yale University invade Lundholm Gym for a tri-meet. Each Wildcat gymnast will invite a special guest who has made a positive impact on her UNH experience as part of Staff/Faculty Appreciation Night. Fans wearing UNH gear will be eligible for prizes as part of Pride Night, and come celebrate the illustrious careers of the seniors Meghan Pflieger, Jennifer King and Jessica Gracia on Senior Night. As always, the Wildcat gymnasts will sign autographs of their official team poster right after the meet. Tickets are available at www.unhwildcats.com and 603-862-4000.
MEET NOTES
•Casey Lauter was named EAGL Specialist of the Week on Tuesday. The junior earned her third career EAGL weekly honor by totaling a season-high-matching 9.900 to win the balance beam championship in last Friday night's dual meet triumph over Air Force. Lauter, who has finished with the top beam mark five times this season, has eclipsed the 9.800 mark in six straight meets. She is the league's No. 2-ranked beam competitor with a 9.865 Regional Qualifying Score (RQS).
•Danielle Mulligan stretched her first-place streak on uneven bars to an impressive seven consecutive meets by scoring a 9.850 in Friday's defeat of Air Force. Mulligan is EAGL's top-ranked bar performer with a 9.880 RQS.
•Marissa Toci earned her first career vault championship by registering a 9.800 in the first rotation. The junior has scored a 9.800 or better four times this season, including the last two meets, to move into a tie for 10th place (9.780 RQS) in EAGL's vault rankings.
•Just five days after establishing a personal-best 9.825 against Temple, freshman Lexi Calandra upped that mark to a 9.875 to win her first outright floor championship against Air Force.
