New Hampshire enters the NCAA FCS playoffs with a 7-4 overall record that includes 6-2 in the CAA and 3-2 at home (1-0 in home non-conference home games). The Wildcats are making their national-leading 13th consecutive appearances in the NCAAs.
UNH ended the regular season with a 24-21 win at Maine to keep hold of the Brice-Cowell Musket for the sixth consecutive year and 13th time the past 14 years.
The Wildcats are 5-2 the past seven games. The 'Cats have a 2-1 record against nationally-ranked teams this season.
UNH has recorded seven or more wins every year of its 13-year playoff run; the stretch began in 2004 (10-3) and includes six double-digit win seasons with a program-record 12 in 2014.
The 'Cats have compiled an 11-11 postseason record during the streak. It all began in 2004 with a first round upset (27-24 win) at Georgia Southern.
New Hampshire has a 12-16 lifetime record in the postseason and that includes 11-13 in the I-AA/FCS tourney.
UNH has a 4-4 postseason record at home, including 3-2 the past three years.

Saturday's game will be the second postseason meeting between these programs. The first ever overall meeting was UNH's 35-21 road win in a 1975 Division II quarterfinal game.
The Mountain Hawks' only win in the Granite State was in the 1979 season by a score of 16-3.
Lehigh University (Bethlehem, Pa.) enters the playoffs on a nine-game winning streak with a 9-2 overall record that includes 6-0 in the Patriot League, 3-0 against the Ivy League and 5-1 on the road. The Mountain Hawks are ranked in the Top 15 in the nation in 15 statistics and that includes 13 in the Top 10 and seven in the Top 5.
Nine UNH Wildcats received a total of 11 CAA Football All-Conference and individual awards on Nov. 22. Senior cornerback and captain Casey DeAndrade was honored as the Chuck Boone Leadership Award recipient; he was also named to the First Team at cornerback and Third Team as a punt returner. Prince Smith, Jr. was tabbed Defensive Rookie of the Year.
DeAndrade was joined on the First Team by OL Tad McNeely and DL Cam Shorey. RB Dalton Crossan was voted to the Second Team.
LB DeVaughn Chollette, S Pop Lacey, OL Andrew Lauderdale and WR Neil O'Connor were all Third Team selections.
