Gymnastics Set to Compete in Don Tonry Bulldog Invitational (Jan. 30, 1 p.m.)

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire gymnastics team heads to Yale University for the Don Tonry Invitational quad meet (Saturday, Jan. 30, 1 p.m.) that also includes the University of Bridgeport and Southern Connecticut State University.

NEXT HOME MEET: UNH hosts its annual Wildcat Invitational quad-meet Sunday, Feb. 7, at 1 p.m. The 'Cats compete against Bridgeport, Brown University and Towson University. This meet features four of the five highest-ranked NCAA gymnastics programs in New England. UNH is No. 26, Bridgeport is No. 51, Yale is No. 64 and Southern Conn. State is No. 69.
Brown (No. 61), the other D-I gymnastics program, visits Lundholm Gym next week (Feb. 7) for the Wildcat Invitational.
Danielle Doolin (Medford Lakes, N.J.) is the two-time reigning EAGL Rookie of the Week. Doolin has competed in all-around all four meets this season.
UNH is ranked third nationally on balance beam (49.375), behind the top two teams in the country -- No. 1 Florida and No. 2 Oklahoma.
The 'Cats boast the top 3 (Casey Lauter, Kelsey Aucoin, Meghan Pflieger) and No. 5 (Lia Breeden) beam competitors in EAGL.
UNH defeated Yale, 196.075-189.700, on Jan. 14 at Lundholm Gym.
