Men's Cross Country Falls to Maine in Dual Meet

ORONO, Maine. – Sophomore Joseph Jourdain (Hudson, N.H.) finished fifth overall to pace the University of New Hampshire men's cross country team, but the Wildcats fell to the University of Maine in a dual meet Friday afternoon in Orono, Maine.
New Hampshire finished with a total of 39 points, placing behind Maine (18).
Jourdain ran the 5-mile course in a time of 26:29 to finish fifth overall.
Junior Kent Harlow (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) and senior Alexander Beaulieu (Merrimack, N.H.) placed sixth and seventh, respectively, in times of 26:42 and 26:43.
Freshman Jeff Moretti (Guilford, Conn.) also recorded a top-10 finish as he placed 10th overall in a time of 26:58.
The Wildcats return to action on Friday, Sept. 30 when they take part in the Paul Short Invitational on the campus of Lehigh University.
