Women's Cross Country Takes Part in New England Championships

BOSTON, Mass. – Sophomore Kellie Walker (North Branford, Conn.) placed 54th overall to pace the University of New Hampshire women's cross country team to a 13th place finish in the 30-team New England Championships at Franklin Park on Saturday.
The Wildcats competed in the sub-varsity division and finished with 379 total points, while Dartmouth took first with 59 points.
Walker crossed the finish line at 20:11.
Senior Megan Donohue (Exeter, N.H.) finished 59th in a time of 20:16, while sophomore Brenna McLaughlin (Derry, N.H.) placed 65th at 20:21.
Junior Megan Trow (Fall Mountain, N.H.) and senior Megan Murnane (Andover, N.J.) placed 84th and 117th, respectively, in times of 20:33 and 21:12 to round out the top Wildcat finishers.
The Wildcats return to action on Saturday, Oct. 15 when they take part in the UAlbany Invitational at 1:30 p.m.
