Brandon Allen, a junior from East Elmhurst, N.Y., won the 100- and 200-meter dashes to highlight the UNH men’s track & field team’s performance at the George Davis Invitational that was held at UMass Lowell on April 22.
Brandon won the 100m in 10.88 seconds and the 200m in 21.95 seconds. Both marks were slightly slower than his personal best times of 10.87 and 21.92, respectively.
One week earlier at the Ocean State Invitational (at Providence College), Brandon sprinted to fifth place in the 400m with a time of 49.57 seconds.
In the April 8 home meet Reggie Atkins Track & Field Facility, Brandon ran the first leg of the victorious 4x400m relay team.
Brandon raced to seventh placed in the 400m at the America East Indoor Track & Field Championships. He recorded a personal-best time of 49.46 in the 400m at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational at Boston University.
