Morgan Winters, a sophomore forward on the UNH men's hockey team, scored a career high of two goals against No. 1 Boston University on Oct. 13 during the team's 6-4 win. He finished with a plus/minus rating of +1 and recorded four shots.
Less than two minutes into the second period, Morgan scored the game winning goal for UNH when he took a shot glove side to give the Wildcats a 4-3 lead at 1:43.
About four minutes later Winters, scored his second goal of the game off a breakaway while UNH was shorthanded to extend the advantage to 5-3 at 6:05.
The men's hockey team will be back in action at the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group complex on Friday, Oct. 20 and Saturday, Oct. 21. Both are at 7 p.m. start time against Quinnipiac.
The games can be watched on ESPN+ and Saturday's game will also be on NESN. During the Saturday game, UNH will be celebrating Real 'Cats Wear Pink. CLICK HERE to get tickets go or call the ticket office at (603) 862-4000.
