Nick Johnson (Bronx, N.Y.), a junior guard on the University of New Hampshire men's basketball team, matched his career high of 21 points in UNH's 75-64 loss at UMass in a March 8 America East semifinal game.
Nick made 8 of 17 field goals attempts, including 1-for-4 from 3-point range, and four free throws to lead all players with 21 points; he was the only player who played all 40 minutes. His other stats included five rebounds, one assist, a block and career-high four steals.
Nick played in 25 games with 23 starts in the 2022-23 season; he ranked second on the team in scoring (12.8 points per game), minutes (33.4 per game) and steals (34), as well as third in rebounding (5.0 per game)
