William Curran, a senior from Old Saybrook, Conn., won the 1,000-meter run and ran the third leg of the winning 4x800m relay team in the University of New Hampshire men's indoor track & field team's dual meet against College of the Holy Cross at UNH's Paul Sweet Oval on Jan. 22.

William crossed the finish line of the 1,000m in 2 minutes, 32.81 seconds to best the field of five other runners. UNH's 4x800m relay team had a combined time of 8:06.19 to defeat a pair of Holy Cross quartets, the closest of which was almost 12 seconds behind the Wildcats.

The UNH men's indoor track & field team has a split squad on Friday, Jan. 27 between the John Thomas Terrier Classic (BU Track & Tennis Center) and the River Hawk Invitational (The Track at New Balance).
