Junior Jassem Koleilat (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) recorded two shutouts last week to backbone the UNH men's soccer team in a 1-0 victory at BIG10 opponent Michigan as well as a 1-0 road win against Northeastern. Jassem now has four shutouts this season with a 0.20 GAA.
In the Sept. 7 matchup at Northeastern University, Jassem was credited one save in the 1-0 victory against the Huskies at Parsons Field. He stopped Jacob Marin-Thomson in the 21st minute.
Jassem recorded three saves, including back-to-back shots within seconds in the 69th minute, in UNH's 1-0 victory at Michigan on Sept. 10. He preserved the shutout with another save in the 86th minute.
The Wildcats return to action Sept. 14 (7 p.m.) at Marist College. UNH's next home game is Sept. 18 (6 p.m.) in the America East conference opener versus UAlbany at Wildcat Stadium.
