Eric MacAdams, a junior from Salem, Mass., recorded a goal and two assists to propel the UNH men's ice hockey team to a 5-4 overtime win against 11th-ranked Northeastern University at the Whittemore Center on Jan. 11.
The three points are a career high for the junior forward, and the two assists matches a personal best. Eric's goal gave the Wildcats a 1-0 lead at 17:11 of the first period, and his assist came on the second of two UNH goals in a span of 1 minute, 52 seconds that gave the Wildcats a 3-1 lead.
Eric set up the game-winning goal in overtime as the Wildcats won their third consecutive game and improved to 8-1-0 at home.
UNH returns to action Jan. 17-18 for a home-and-home series against Providence College; both games start at 7 p.m. and will be televised on NESN. The teams face off at the Whittemore Center on Saturday.
