THIRD QUARTER
- UNH pressured early in the third quarter, which led to a corner and goal. Johnson struck a bouncing ball from the top-right of the circle and Talbot, position in the middle, batted the ball out of the air into the right side of the cage to trim the deficit to 2-1 at 33:44.

FOURTH QUARTER
- New Hampshire outshot Maine 4-0 and scored the only goal in the fourth quarter to force overtime.
- Ward's shot on a short corner was stopped by Halkes' kick save, but the ball went high into the air toward the right post, where Godwin struck the shoulder-high ball into the open cage to pull UNH into a 3-3 tie at 48:21
- The Wildcats earned a corner with 2:24 on the clock, and this time Johnson's shot from the top-right was turned aside by Halkes to preserve the tie.
OVERTIME
- UNH also recorded a 4-0 shot advantage in the extra session.
- Halkes was busy early, as she had to deny Godwin in both the 64th and 66th minutes, as well as Addison MacNeil (Brentwood, N.H.) in the 66th minute
- The Wildcats earned the first corner of OT in the 74th minute. MacNeil made the short insert to Ward, who sent a rolling pass into the middle of the circle, where Casucci extended her stick to redirect the ball into the upper-right corner of the cage to end the game, 4-3, at 73:45.
