Former Wildcats Camryn Honn and Marisa Armer Set to Compete in Europe For 2026-27 Season

The former teammates spent two seasons together in New Hampshire.
DURHAM, N.H. — Former University of New Hampshire women's volleyball alumnae Camryn Honn (Overland Park, Kan.) and Marisa Armer (Bradenton, Fla.) will continue their professional careers in Europe during the 2026-27 season, with Honn competing in Portugal with Clube de Futebol OS Belenenses and Armer set to debut with Oriveden Ponnistus in Finland.
It was such an honor to have had Camryn and Marisa in our gym. They helped guide our program and developed our outstanding championship culture and mindset, shared head coach Christopher Feliciano, Marisa played a tremendous role in helping us lift the conference championship trophy in 2024, but what isn't talked about enough is Camryn's leadership and what she meant to our program ahead of the season. Both players have their fingerprints on our history and on our 2024 America East Championship, and their work ethic is something that our current student-athletes should aspire to achieve.
Honn, who appeared in 146 sets across 46 matches in her time in Durham, finished up her inaugural season with Belenenses in Lisbon, going 34-3 with the club during the 2025-26 season.
Competing professionally and adjusting to life abroad has challenged me in the best ways, and being part of a team with such a strong culture has been incredibly special, shared Honn when asked about her experience, I'm so grateful for the opportunity to play in Portugal and for the memories and experiences I gained along the way!
During her two-year tenure with New Hampshire, Honn combined for 676 assists, 40 service aces, 268 digs, and 74.0 points, contributing the second-most assists and fourth-most digs on the roster in the 2023 season.
Following her time with the Wildcats, the 2022 America East Commissioner's Honor Roll selection concluded her NCAA career with South Dakota State University during the 2024 season.
Armer, who competed with the Wildcats from 2021-2024, signed with Oriveden Ponnistus in Orivesi, Finland following her graduate student beach volleyball season with McNeese in 2026.
I chose [Oriveden Ponnistus] because I liked the club's history and culture, said Armer, Everyone at the club is really friendly and welcoming, and I look forward to experiencing Finland and Orivesi.
Across 365 sets and 106 matches with New Hampshire, Armer closed out her Wildcat career with 597 kills, averaging 1.64 kills/set, 143 digs, 241 total blocks, and 724.0 points.
A key piece of the Wildcats' rotation, Armer finished each season in Durham ranking among the best blockers on the team, finishing with the third-most blocks on the roster in her freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons before notching the fourth-most blocks her senior season.
Offensively, the three-time America East Commissioner's Honor Roll select made an impact in each of her four seasons, ranking fourth on the team in kills her freshman and sophomore seasons before logging a career-best third place finish her junior year and helping the Wildcats to the 2024 America East Championship in her senior season.
