Wildcats defeat LIU, win Friday quad meet to go perfect 4-0 in designated league meets
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The UNH gymnastics team won the 2026 EAGL regular-season championship by virtue of Friday night's quad-meet victory at LIU that included non-conference wins against Bridgeport and Rhode Island College at the Pratt Recreation Center.
The Wildcats scored a 194.650 to improve to 13-2 overall and finished head-to-head EAGL designated meets with a perfect 4-0 record by dispatching the Sharks (194.525). Bridgeport placed third with a 193.525 and RIC totaled a 188.950.

UNH registered its highest vault score of the season with a 49.150. Sophomore Mady Harvey (Freeland, Mich.) and freshman Amelia Lannon (Sutton, Mass.) each set a personal best with a 9.850 to share first place. Junior captain McCall McMullen (Athens, Ga.) equaled her PB with a 9.825 that shared third place with senior Serena Mullin (Hamden, Conn.), who tied a season high, and Bridgeport's Nova Staruk.
Mullin paced the uneven bar lineup with a 9.775 for second place, behind LIU's Brisa Carraro (9.825). Junior Gwen Ockerbloom (Granby, Conn.) tallied a career-high 9.725 for a share of third with UB's Abigail Kenney. Harvey and sophomore Peyton Novinger (Hershey, Pa.) each secured a 9.700 for a share of fifth.
Harvey, EAGL's No. 1 balance beam competitor, headlined UNH's top-ranked beam lineup with a 9.875 for her second event victory of the meet. Mullin contributed a 9.800 to tie Kenney for runner-up honors, and Ockerbloom recorded a solid 9.775 to place fourth.
The Wildcats' floor lineup proved outstanding with all five scoring gymnasts achieving a 9.800 or higher en route to a 49.175. McMullen led the way with a podium-topping 9.875, followed by Ockerbloom, who tied a season high with a 9.850 to finish second. Junior Poulina Minaev (Smithtown, N.Y.) and Mullin each notched a 9.825 for a share of third, and senior Riley Himes (Orlando, Fla.) earned the highest floor score of her career and matched her personal best with a 9.800 (seventh), the first time she reached that plateau since March 12, 2023.
Mullin equaled her season high with a 39.225 to win the all-around championship, and Ockerbloom posted a personal best with a 39.050 for second place.
