Emma Reaves Named America East Rookie of the Week for Second Time

Reaves placed second in the shot put at the Pre-Conference Invitational
BOSTON – Freshman Emma Reaves (Westminster, Md.) of the University of New Hampshire women's track and field team has been named the America East Female Rookie of the Week for her performance at the Pre-Conference Invitational at UMass on April 27.
This is the second time that Reaves has earned Rookie of the Week accolades as she previously won the honor on April 15 along with Field Athlete of the Week.
Reaves placed second in the shot put with a throw of 44'4.75" at the Pre-Conference Invitational. She also placed fifth in the discus with a throw of 132'1". Her throw in the shot put is ranked second in the conference.
The Wildcats will return to action on Saturday and Sunday, May 3-4 for the America East Championships at the Reggie Atkins Track and Field Facility at Wildcat Stadium.
