Nine Wildcats Combine for 16 All-EAGL Awards

Challman, Mullin, Ockerbloom, Reade Earn All-EAGL First Team
WEIRTON, W.Va. – Junior Serena Mullin (Hamden, Conn.) and freshman Aine Reade (Merrimac, Mass.) each earned two All-EAGL First Team selections to highlight nine members of the UNH gymnastics team totaling 16 All-EAGL awards, the East Atlantic Gymnastics League announced Monday.
Mullin was named All-EAGL First Team on balance beam and all-around, and Reade was tabbed All-EAGL First Team on floor exercise and all-around. Sophomore Gwen Ockerbloom (Hamden, Conn.) was named All-EAGL First Team on vault, and sophomore Anne Challman (Lewisburg, Pa.) earned All-EAGL First Team on floor.
Reade registered All-EAGL Second Team honors on vault and uneven bars. Other Wildcats named All-EAGL Second Team included senior Gracy Mowers (Middleton, Mass.), sophomore McCall McMullen (Athens, Ga.) and junior Leah Moreno (Cary, N.C.) on vault, Moreno and sophomore Zoe Arthur (El Segundo, Calif.) on bars, Challman and freshman Mady Harvey (Freeland, Mich.) on beam and Mullin on floor.

Ockerbloom finished the regular season with a 9.810 vault National Qualifying Score (NQS), which was tied for No. 3 in EAGL. The sophomore scored a career-high 9.850 and tied for first place Feb. 16 at Yale. For the season, she eclipsed the 9.800 mark six times, including four of the last five meets.
Mullin tied for No. 5 in EAGL on beam (9.820 NQS) and was ranked third in all-around (38.875) to claim her first two career All-EAGL First Team awards. She added Second Team on floor with a 9.810 NQS (No. 13) one year after she earned 2024 All-EAGL Second Team on vault, beam and floor. The Hamden, Conn., native won six all-around titles this season and added first-place event finishes on bars (Jan. 26, March 16), beam (Feb. 9) and floor (Jan. 31). Mullin, who was named EAGL Gymnast of the Week on Jan. 29 and Feb. 19, set a personal-best 39.000 in all-around Feb. 16 and notched a career-high 9.850 on bars in Sunday's regular-season finale at the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group Complex.
Reade blitzed through her freshman campaign to win the EAGL Rookie of the Week award eight times in the first 10 weeks of the season. The native of Merrimac, Mass., ranked No. 3 in EAGL with a floor NQS of 9.865, which included a personal-best 9.900 on Feb. 9 vs Brown and Yale at Lundholm Gym. She scored a 9.800 or higher on floor in 11 of UNH's 12 meets. Among her eight first-place finishes include two on vault (Jan. 26, March 16), four on floor (Jan. 26, Jan. 31, Feb. 2, March 16), and two in all-around (Jan. 19, Feb. 28). Reade's other season-high scores are 9.850 on vault (March 8), 9.775 on bars (Feb. 28, March 8), 9.775 on beam (Jan. 31, Feb. 23) and 39.250 in all-around (March 8).
Challman recorded EAGL's No. 6 ranking on floor (9.855 NQS) and No. 16 ranking on beam (9.785 NQS). The sophomore won the EAGL Specialist of the Week award three times (Jan. 8, Jan. 15, Feb. 12) and topped the podium on floor three times (Jan. 19, Feb. 19, March 16). Her career-high 9.950 on Feb. 9 matched the fourth-highest floor score in program history, and she tallied a personal-best 9.875 beam score Sunday in the Whitt.
Mowers earned All-EAGL second team on vault by virtue of her 9.780 NQS (No. 12). The senior, who won the EAGL co-Specialist of the Week award on Jan. 22, twice hit for a season-high 9.800, including Sunday in her Senior Day meet.
McMullen tied for No. 13 on vault (9.775 NQS) and twice hit for a career-best 9.825 (Jan. 11, March 16).
Moreno tied for No. 16 on vault (9.765 NQS) and No. 13 on bars (9.755 NQS) to become a three-time All-EAGL Second Team selection (2024, bars). The junior hit for a season-high 9.800 on vault Feb. 16 and equaled that score March 16, when she also scored a season-best 9.825 on bars.
Arthur registered a 9.745 NQS as a bar specialist for EAGL's No. 14 ranking. The sophomore established a career-high 9.850 at Yale on Feb. 16, which was UNH's highest bar score of the season (since matched by Mullin on March 16).
Harvey, who won the inaugural EAGL Rookie Specialist of the Week award Jan. 8, amassed a 9.790 beam NQS to tie for No. 14 in the conference. The freshman scored a 9.800 or higher four times, highlighted by a personal-best 9.825 at Penn State in her collegiate debut (Jan. 5).
