Aine Reade has won the EAGL Rookie of the Week award seven times in eight weeks

Freshman garners seventh honor in first eight weeks of season
WEIRTON, W. Va. – For the fourth straight week, and for the seventh time in the first eight weeks of the East Atlantic Gymnastics League season, UNH freshman Aine Reade (Merrimac, Mass.) has been honored as the EAGL co-Rookie of the Week, it was announced Wednesday. Reade shared the award for Week 8 with LIU's Kaira Cartwright.
In Sunday's dual meet versus George Washington in the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group Complex, Reade tied for second place on vault with a 9.800 and added Top-5 placements on floor exercise (9.800, T-fourth) and all-around (38.350, third). The Merrimac, Mass., native equaled her personal best on balance beam with a 9.775 to share seventh place. Reade extended her career-long streak of scoring at least a 9.800 on floor to a ninth consecutive meet; she is tied for No. 1 in EAGL with a 9.850 floor National Qualifying Score (NQS).
