17 Field Hockey Players Earn America East Academic Honor Roll Recognition

BOSTON – Seventeen student-athletes on the 2023 University of New Hampshire field hockey team were named to the America East Academic Honor Roll for the Fall 2023 season with a breakdown of 11 on the Commissioner's Honor Roll and six on the Honor Roll.
That calculates to 68 percent of the roster being honored and 44 percent on the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition is awarded to student-athletes with a fall semester GPA of 3.50 or higher, while Honor Roll accolades are bestowed to student-athletes who recorded a fall semester GPA between 3.0-3.49.
Nicole Poulakis (Ajax, Ontario) and Olivia Watson (Easton, Pa.) led the 11 Wildcats on the Commissioner's Honor Roll with a perfect 4.0 GPA in the Fall 2023 semester.
That duo was joined on the Commissioner's Honor Roll by Brecken Calcari (St. Louis, Mo.), Reagan Calcari (St. Louis, Mo.), Madilynn Clark (Evanston, Ill.), Tamera Cookman (London, England), Tasmin Cookman (London, England), Gigi Fay (Lancaster, Mass.), Kathelijne Knuttel (Groningen, Netherland), Carly Warms (Chicago, Ill.) and Jemma Woods (Frimley, England).
The six Wildcats on the Honor Roll are: Abigail Armlin (York, Maine), Lindsay Lee (Eindhoven, Netherlands), Chloe Miller (Collegeville, Pa.), Ella Pratt (Greenwood Village, Colo.), Lily Rothwell (Lynnfield, Mass.) and Mari Shea (Hampstead, N.H.).
Eighty percent of student-athletes who competed in America East sponsored sports in the 2023-24 academic year earned Honor Roll recognition for achieving at least a 3.0 GPA during the 2023 fall semester or 2024 spring semesters.
In total, 53 percent of student-athletes and 1,828 in total earned Commissioner's Honor Roll status. Overall, 2,738 America East student-athletes earned Academic Honor Roll in 2023-24. This marks the 19th consecutive year America East student-athletes have averaged at least a 3.0 GPA.
America East is proud to have one of most comprehensive academic awards programs in the country, which honors over two-thirds of its student-athletes for their success in the classroom, including its sports Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic honorees, Presidential Scholar-Athletes and its Honor Roll Elite 18 recipients.
