Women's Hockey Unveils 2024-25 Schedule

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's hockey program, led by 11th-year head coach Hilary Witt, has announced its 2024-25 regular-season schedule of 34 games with a split of 18 games at the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group Complex and 16 road games.

Before the regular season gets underway, the Wildcats will skate against border rival University of Maine in a Sept. 22 (4 p.m.) exhibition game at the Whitt.
UNH plays six home games the month of October, beginning with the season-opening series against Assumption University on Oct. 4-5; it'll be the first meeting between the Wildcats and Greyhounds. The 'Cats open Hockey East play with a home-and-home series vs. UConn on Oct. 11-12.
New Hampshire welcomes Union College to Durham for two games (Oct. 18-19) and return to league action Oct. 25-26 against the University of Vermont.
November includes home-and-home series against Northeastern University, Providence College and the College of the Holy Cross, as well as a road trip to Burlington for a single game at UVM. Ahead of Thanksgiving weekend, the Wildcats travel for two games at Mercyhurst University, which will mark the first meeting between these programs since Dec. 2007.
UNH wraps up the season series against both Northeastern (Dec. 4; home) and UConn (Dec. 6; home) before breaking for exams. The 'Cats close out the 2024 calendar year Dec. 30 vs. intrastate rival Dartmouth College at the Whitt.
Two of six January games are on home ice – Jan. 3 for a Buffalo Wild Wings Border Battle against Maine and Jan. 17 vs. Boston University. UNH plays single games at Boston College, Merrimack College and Holy Cross and travels to Maine for a two-game series.
February starts with a game at PC and also includes home-and-home series against Merrimack, BU and BC. The last home game of the regular season is the Feb. 22 regular-season finale against the Eagles.
