CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The University of New Hampshire women's ice hockey team blanked Harvard University (3-1-0, 0-0-0 ECAC) on Saturday night (Oct. 24) at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center, taking a 3-0 decision.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Wildcats opened the scoring late into the first period, when Addison Spitz (Grosse Pointe, Mich.) took a pass from Nina Rossi (Pittsgrove, N.J.) along the half-wall in the Harvard zone before feeding Danika Botterill (Portage La Prairie, Manitoba) across the zone, who ripped a one-timer past Harvard's Isabelle Whynot high blocker-side on the power-play.

-Neither team connecting on net in the second frame, leaving the 1-0 Wildcat lead intact. Harvard led the period on the shot chart, outshooting UNH 14-6.

-New Hampshire doubled their advantage 1:27 into the third period after Julia Cabral (Lee, N.H.) won the puck on the wall in the neutral zone, skating with it toward the Harvard net before finding Charlie Rauch (Ramsey, N.J.) with a pass across the zone, who then fed the puck back to Cabral for the finish.

-With 1:44 left to play, Cabral found the empty net to bring about the 3-0 final score.
