Wildcats Finish Out Pre-Conference Meet on Senior Day

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's track and field team headed back to Durham for the last meet before conference championships. The 'Cats competed from Friday April 26 to Saturday, April 27. Saturday was also Senior Day in which the members of our 2024 graduating men's and women's teams were celebrated.
ÂDirector of Cross Country/Track and Field Anna Magle-Haberek had this to say about the seniors "It was wonderful to celebrate our amazing seniors today. These athletes have given so much to the program during the last several years. We will miss them dearly, but wish them the best of luck in their futures."

Freshman Briana Danis (Hooksett, N.H.) took first in the discus throw with a distance of 43.19m

Sophomore Kristen Kirk took second in the women's high jump, clearing a distance of 1.62m

Sophomore Makena Lee (Northwood, N.H.) placed third in the pole vault, clearing a distance of 3.65m.

Junior Olivia Chamberlain (Warnerville, N.Y.) took took second in the women's long jump with a distance of 6.03m

Senior Lily Doody (Lee, N.H.) secured a first place finish in the 1500m run, clocking in at 4:36.50.

The women's 4x400 team consisting of Senior Natalie Fraser (Gilford, N.H.), freshman Kailey Dillon (Merrimack, N.H.), Emily Williams (Sudbury, Mass.) and Emily Williams (Sudbury, Mass.) secured second place, recording a time of 4:05.12.
Next Up
The 'Cats will return to action May 4-5 where they will be competing in the America East outdoor championships, hosted by UMBC.
