'Cats Complete Day Two of UMass Multi-Meet

AMHERST, Mass. – The UNH women's track and field Competed in the UMass Multi-Meet hosted by UMass Amherst. This was a two-day long meet in which three athletes competed in the heptathlon.

Event Notebook
- Sophomore Kristen Kirk placed 6th overall. She recorded a total score of 3929 points. She recorded new PRs of 16.89 in the 100m hurdles and 28.11 in the 200m.
- Junior Teagan O'Brien (Pawcatuck, Conn.) finished in 9th place and recorded multiple PRs including clearing 1.46 in the high jump, a 28.73 finish in the 200m, and throwing 20.70 in the javelin.
- Freshman Kailey Dillon (Merrimack, N.H.) finished in 10th place overall. She recorded outdoor college PRs in the high jump, shot put and with distances of 1.46m and 7.48m respectively. As well as the 200m, finishing with a time of 26.91 in which she finished second.
- The 'Cats will return to action on Saturday, April 13 where they will be taking place in the Commonwealth Invitational, Hosted by UMass Amherst!
