UNH Suffers First Loss in Conference Play
LOWELL, Mass. – The University of New Hampshire women's soccer team fell, 2-0, against UMass Lowell on Thursday evening at Cushing Field Complex.
Hilary Jaén and Calliste Brookshire scored the two goals for the River Hawks.
Redshirt junior captain Sally Rainey (West Lebanon, N.H.) made two saves, while UMass Lowell goalkeeper Taylor Burgess recorded three saves.
The Wildcats fall to 9-3-1 on the season and 4-1 in the America East, while the River Hawks improve to 4-8-1 overall and 1-3 in conference play.

- A UNH foul in the box awarded the River Hawks a penalty kick in the 73rd minute. Brookshire stepped up and buried it.
