Gorgenyi paces team with 9.900 on uneven bars and finishes second in all-around
TOWSON, Md. – Graduate student Kylie Gorgenyi (North Reading, Mass.) finished runner-up on uneven bars and all-around and senior Jenna DeVincenzo (Bethpage, N.Y.) scored a career high on vault to lead the UNH gymnastics team to a second-place finish at Friday night's Chelli Calloway Invitational, hosted by Towson University.
The Tigers won the quad meet with a 195.475, followed by UNH (194.475), George Washington (194.400) and Cornell (192.825).

HOW IT HAPPENED
•Gorgenyi headlined the floor lineup with a 9.850 to tie for sixth place in the opening rotation. TU's Elise Tisler won the event with a 9.925.
•On vault, DeVincenzo scored a career-high 9.875 to lead the 'Cats and tie for third in the event. Sophomore Serena Mullin (Hamden, Conn.) scored a 9.800 (T-11th).
•The third rotation was UNH's most successful, with Gorgenyi's 9.900 on bars placing behind only Towson's Isabella Minervini (9.925). Senior Gianna Graver (East Northport, N.Y.) and junior Julia Before (Sutton, Vt.) each set a personal best with a 9.825 to share sixth place, while senior Sierra Bauman (Wallingford, Conn.) and sophomore Leah Moreno (Cary, N.C.) each scored a 9.800 (T-8th). The Wildcats scored a 49.150 on bars.
•Junior Alyssa Beaulieu (Holyoke, Mass.) headlined the balance beam lineup with a 9.825, which tied for second place behind George Washington's Brooke Izzo (9.850).
•Gorgenyi scored a 39.050 to finish runner-up in all-around to GWU's Kendall Whitman (39.200).
