STORRS, Conn. – The University of New Hampshire women's soccer team fell to Big East opponent UConn, 2-0 on Sunday evening at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium.
Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Sally Rainey (Lebanon, N.H.) made four saves in the contest.
The Wildcats' record falls to 3-2 (0-0 AE) and UConn's improves to 2-1-1 (0-0 Big East).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Rainey made a diving save in the 26th minute (25:19) on UConn's Abbey Jones to keep the Huskies off the score sheet.
- Jessica Mazo got the Huskies on the board in the 48th minute (47:30) when she rang the right post and buried the ball.
- Brooke Walonis chipped the ball to the back of the net in the 69th minute (68:14) to give UConn a 2-0 lead.
