HOW IT HAPPENED:

Minnesota took a 1-0 lead in the fourth minute (3:52) as Megan Nemec found the back of the net. Kate Childers notched an assist on the goal.
Abi Frandsen rocketed a shot from the top of the box in the 18^th (17:45) minute to give the Gophers a 2-0 lead.
Sophia Boman capitalized on a penalty kick and buried the ball for a 3-0 lead in the 62nd minute (61:38).
Red shirt sophomore goalkeeper Sally Rainey (West Lebanon, N.H.) made an athletic save in the bottom left corner of the net off a header from Minnesota's Izzy Brown in the 70^th minute.
Jordy Rothwell headed the ball into the net off a service from Paige Kalal on a corner kick and Minnesota extended the lead to 4-0 in the 77th minute (76:48).
