2024 Gymnastics Schedule Announced

DURHAM, N.H. – The UNH gymnastics team, under the leadership of fifth-year head coach Lindsey Bruck Ayotte, announced its 2023-24 schedule, which opens with the Spread Respect Meet versus LIU and Bridgeport on Sunday, Jan. 14 (2 p.m.) in the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group Complex.
The Wildcats will hold three of their five regular-season home meets in the Whitt, including the annual Stick It for the Cure Meet for breast cancer awareness against Towson and Brown on Sunday, Feb. 11 (1 p.m.) and Senior Day on Sunday, Feb. 25 (2 p.m.) versus Fisk, Southern Connecticut State and Rhode Island College.
The Meet the Team exhibition gives Wildcat fans their first look at the 2024 Wildcats on Sunday, Dec. 10, at 3 p.m. in Lundholm Gym. Lundholm will also serve as the site of the National Girls and Women in Sports Day Meet against SCSU on Sunday, Feb. 4 (2 p.m.) and the Alumni Day quad meet against Temple, Bridgeport and Brown on Sunday, March 17 (2 p.m.).
"We are excited to give our fans three great opportunities to see our team compete at the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group Complex, an excellent venue to showcase top-level NCAA gymnastics," Bruck Ayotte said. "The traditional Lundholm Gym environment provides that intimate feel for our high-energy Meet the Team and National Girls and Women in Sports Day meets as well as the memory-filled Alumni Day home finale on St. Patrick's Day!"
UNH will test itself against some of the nation's top teams highlighted by dual meets at Michigan State (Friday, March 1, 7 p.m.) and at Missouri (Sunday, March 10, 1 p.m.). The Wildcats also will take part in the All-American Challenge, a podium event held at Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Conn., on Monday, Feb. 19 (Time, opponents TBA).
"We pride ourselves on competing against the best teams in the country in preparing to challenge for an EAGL Championship and a return to NCAA Regionals," Bruck Ayotte added. "The All-American Challenge at Mohegan Sun gives our gymnasts a great opportunity to represent UNH at one of New England's premier arenas."
The 2024 EAGL Championship will be hosted by defending champion Towson University on Saturday, March 23, at 4 p.m. UNH, seeking its first conference championship since 2019, will take on the host Tigers, George Washington, LIU and Temple.
