Wildcats Down UAlbany in Comeback Fashion, 2-1

ALBANY, N.Y. – The University of New Hampshire women's soccer team's two goal second half led to a 2-1 comeback victory over UAlbany on Sunday afternoon from Tom and Mary Casey Stadium. Senior midfield Megan Logue (Naples, Fla.) scored the game winning goal for the Wildcats.
Junior midfield Meghan Guarente (Sewell, N.J.) scored the equalizer for the 'Cats while redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Sally Rainey (Lebanon, N.H.) made five saves for UNH.
The Wildcats' record improves to 5-4-2 (2-1-1 AE) and UAlbany's falls to 3-6-2 (0-2-2 AE).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Hailey Hnis scored first in the contest, giving the Great Danes a 1-0 lead in the 28th minute (27:55).
- Guarente netted the equalizer in the 52nd minute (51:23) when she buried the ball to the top left corner off a beautiful through pass from junior forward Chloe DeLyser (Marion, N.Y.)
- Logue gave the Wildcats the 2-1 lead in the 57th minute (56:37) when she headed the ball to the left side of the net off a corner kick by Guarente. The ball was blocked by a UAlbany defender on the goal line but was ruled good after the official determined the ball crossed the goal line before being turned away.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- The Wildcats outshot the Great Danes, 13-8, while both teams had six shots on goal.
- Megan Hart of UAlbany had four saves while Rainey had five.
- UNH took six corner kicks and UAlbany took three.
