Wildcats Conclude Regular Season with 1-1 Tie at UMass Lowell

LOWELL, Mass. – Junior back Ella Dudley (St. Augustine, Fla.) scored the lone goal as the University of New Hampshire women's soccer team tied UMass Lowell, 1-1 on Thursday evening.
With the tie, the Wildcats have secured a bye and will host the America East Tournament semifinal game on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 6 p.m. in Wildcat Stadium.
The Wildcats' record changes to 8-5-2 (5-1-2, America East) and the River Hawks goes to 7-6-4 (4-2-2, America East).

· The Wildcats return to action when they host the winner of the America East Semifinal game at Wildcat Stadium on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 6 p.m.
FIRST HALF:
· The first half went scoreless with the Wildcats recording one shot on goal and the River Hawks posting two.
SECOND HALF:
· Dudley curved a long ball into the top left corner of the goal in the 48th minute to give the Wildcats a 1-0 lead.
· Grad student goalkeeper Cat Sheppard (Nesconset, N.Y.) make an incredible diving save on UMass Lowell's Ioanna Papatheodorou in the 67th minute to hold the Wildcat lead.
· UML's Allison LeBlanc found the back of the net in the 90th minute to tie the game, 1-1.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
· The River Hawks outshot the Wildcats 11-8.
· UNH and UMass Lowell both took one corner kick.
· Sheppard made five saves while UMass Lowell's Taylor Burgess made one.
