DURHAM, NH. – Junior back Ella Dudley (St. Augustine, Fla.) scored her third of the season for the University of New Hampshire women's soccer team on Sunday afternoon helping them to surpass the University of Vermont, 1-0 at Wildcat Stadium.

The Wildcats' record extends to 7-5-1 (4-1-1, America East) and the Catamounts fall to 4-7-3 (0-4-2, America East)

UP NEXT:
· The Wildcats return to action on Sunday, Oct. 23, as they head to Baltimore, Maryland to face UMBC at 12 p.m.

FIRST HALF:
· The Wildcats recorded an impressive nine shots in the first half and grad-student goalkeeper Cat Sheppard (Nesconset, N.Y). made two saves.

SECOND HALF:
· Dudley scored the team's lone goal in the 55th minute, giving UNH a 1-0 lead. Junior forward Keegan Mayer (Summit, N.J) took the freekick for UNH sending it into traffic where Dudley found the loose ball and fired it into an empty net.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
· The Wildcats outshot the Catamounts 15-5.
· UNH took ten corner kicks compared to UVM's one.
· Sheppard made three saves while Vermont's Erin Murphy made five.
