UNH posted seven of the Top 14 finishers in the 8k race led by Brayden Kearns' 6th place finish

ST. ALBAN'S, Vt. -- The University of New Hampshire men's cross country earned a second place finish at the Fall Foliage Invitational 8k race hosted by the University of Vermont on Sunday afternoon at Hard'Ack Recreation Area.

Sophomore Brayden Kearns (Deerfield, N.H.) paced the Wildcats with a sixth place finish with a time of 26:01.20, while freshman Samuel Hilts (Concord, N.H.) and sophomore Aidan Shea (Amherst, Mass.) finished seventh and eight with marks of 26:05.80 and 26:15.90, respectively.

Sophomore Kevin Finn (Kennebunk, Maine) placed ninth with a time of 26:28.00, while freshman John Murphy (Deerfield, N.H.) placed finished in 10th place at 26:34.80.

Senior Kenney McElroy (West Linn, Ore.) and freshman Zachary Hooper (Concord, N.H.) earned 13th and 14th place finishes with times of 26:39.20 and 26:40.30, respectively.

The Wildcats return to racing on Friday, October 21 at the CCSU Mini Meet in New Britain, Conn. at Stanley Park.
