BROOKLINE, Mass. – Junior Rory O'Driscoll (Minneapolis, Minn.) scored the game-winning goal in the second half as the No. 12 University of New Hampshire men's soccer team defeated Northeastern, 1-0, at Parsons Field on Tuesday evening.

Northeastern took the first shot on goal in the 21st minute when an attempt by Jacob Marin-Thompson to the bottom left side of the net was saved by junior goalkeeper Jassem Koleilat (Dubai, United Arab Emirates).
Then in the 28th minute, junior Bilal Kamal (London, England) sent a shot that was going to the bottom center of the goal but it was saved by Colby Hegarty.
After the scoreless first half, UNH had outshot Northeastern, 8-6.
O'Driscoll scored the game winner in the 64th minute (63:07) when he blasted a free kick to the upper left corner of the net from 25 yards out.
The Wildcat defense prevented the Huskies from taking any more shots on goal to earn their third shutout of the season.

UNH outshot Northeastern, 18-10, while the Wildcats took seven shots on goal and the Huskies posted one on net.
