Kevin McGrath Earns America East Field Performer of the Week Accolades

McGrath has the best height in the high jump in the conference this season.
BOSTON – Senior Kevin McGrath (Hopkinton, N.H.) of the University of New Hampshire men's track and field team has been named the America East Field Performer of the Week for his performance at the quad meet at Leverone Field House in Hanover, N.H. versus Dartmouth, Vermont and Maine on Dec. 11.

McGrath won the high jump with a height of 6'8.75" which tied his career best. He just missed the school record of 6'9". The distance is the best in America East and 20th in the nation this season. McGrath won bronze at the 2020 America East Indoor Championship also with a jump of 6'8.75". Â

The Wildcats will return to action at the Sorlien Memorial Invitational at Mackal Field House in Kingston, R.I. on Saturday, Jan. 15.
