The Wildcats totaled a 195.075 to finish in fourth place behind Rutgers (195.900), No. 15 Auburn (195.825) and Central Michigan (195.175) in front of a crowd of 1,660.
Winer tied for third on beam (9.850) and Freehling took third in all-around (39.050). Classmate Ava Watkins (Cherry Hill, N.J.) matched a career best on bars (9.800).
"It was great to celebrate our seniors today," head coach Lindsey Bruck Ayotte said. "They have done so much for UNH gymnastics and are great leaders for our team."
"Although today didn't go as well as we were hoping, there are some great things to take away from it. We really improved on our landings on vault and finally hit a great bar rotation. In the next two meets we just need to go out there, give it everything we have and leave nothing left on the floor!"
