Wolverines total 197.900 to remain undefeated
ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Alyssa Worthington (West Warwick, R.I.) equaled a personal best with a 9.900 on balance beam, and Emma Winer (Georgetown, Mass.) extended her streak of team-leading floor-exercise scores to seven straight meets, but No. 7 Michigan scored a 197.900 to defeat the University of New Hampshire gymnastics team (195.050) on Friday night at Crisler Center.
"It was great to compete in Michigan," said UNH head coach and former University of Michigan All-American gymnast Lindsey Bruck Ayotte. "We definitely had some positive things about tonight's performance and tried to control the things that we could. Very proud of the bar team for starting the meet off strong for us. We are looking forward to a few days of recovery and then back to the gym to work on details!"
