Gentile, Kenney finish 4-5 in giant slalom at Sugarloaf

CARRABASSETT VALLEY & WATERVILLE, Maine – Crowley Gentile (Greenland, N.H.) and Patrick Kenney (Hingham, Mass.) finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in men's giant slalom at Sugarloaf Mountain on Friday to propel the UNH ski team to second place in that race and fourth place overall at the Colby College Carnival.
At Quarry Road, Scott Schulz (Lake Placid, N.Y.) took fourth place in the men's 10K freestyle skate, and Anders Sonnesyn (Minneapolis, Minn.) finished 11th to lead the Wildcat men's Nordic team to third place in that race.
Emma Woodhouse (Collingwood, Ontario) headlined the women's GS lineup by finishing in 13th place, and Lucinda Anderson (Golden Valley, Minn.) was the top women's Nordic 'Cat with a 20th-place result in the 5K free.
