Mulligan Named EAGL Gymnast of Week for Fourth Time

Senior set personal bests on vault, all-around in road win at UNC
BALTIMORE –Danielle Mulligan (Farmingdale, N.Y.), a senior for the University of New Hampshire gymnastics team, has been named the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Gymnast of the Week for the fourth time this season, the league announced Tuesday.
Mulligan, who has been feted as EAGL Gymnast of Week four of the past five weeks, set personal-bests on vault (9.900, first) and in all-around (39.425, first) in a dual-meet victory at the University of North Carolina on Friday, Feb. 22. The senior also finished first on uneven bars (9.900) and shared first on balance beam (9.850). The Farmingdale, N.Y., native's career-high all-around score equaled the fourth highest in UNH history, making her the first Wildcat gymnast to achieve that mark since Austyn Fobes on Jan. 6, 2013.
Mulligan has won or tied for first on bars seven times in nine meets this season, including six consecutive meets. She has earned six all-around titles in her first season as an all-around competitor.
For the season, the senior is ranked first in EAGL on bars (9.885 National Qualifying Score), beam (9.840 NQS) and all-around (39.210 NQS).
UNH has now won 10 EAGL weekly honors in its first seven weeks of competition:
