Wildcats seek sixth straight win in dual meet vs EAGL rival
DURHAM, N.H. – The UNH gymnastics team's annual Stick It for the Cure Meet, presented by Medtronic, takes place Sunday, Feb. 3 (1 p.m.) at Lundholm Gym. This year the Wildcats play host to EAGL rival George Washington in a Superhero Day dual meet.

PROMOTIONS • STICK IT FOR THE CURE • SUPERHERO DAY • GET TICKETS
•Help the Wildcats raise awareness in the fight to find a cure for breast cancer. Pledge to donate for each successful stick the team achieves in its quest to hit 24-for-24 routines. There will also be donation opportunities for Seacoast Cancer Center and raffles for special Super Sunday prizes including a New England Patriots helmet signed by Rob Gronkowski.
•Familiar superheroes will be there to meet and pose for pictures with fans of all ages, and they will help UNH honor the true superheroes including survivors, as well as first responders and our military and veterans.
•Any fans showing their used tickets from either of this weekend's White Out the Whitt men's hockey games (Feb. 1-2) vs Maine at the Whittemore Center can take advantage of a special ticket price of $3 for Stick It for the Cure (available at the door on Sunday).

•Join the Wildcat gymnastics team for a special quad meet Saturday night, March 2, at 7 p.m. as UNH challenges defending EAGL champion North Carolina State, Rutgers and Brown in the Fan Appreciation/Alumni Day meet.
•Wildcat stars from the past return to Lundholm to cheer on the 2019 Wildcats in their penultimate home meet of the regular season. Plus, special promotions to thank 'Cat gymnastics fans for their passionate support will be interspliced among the performances of many of the NCAA's top gymnasts.

LAST TIME OUT
•Danielle Mulligan (Farmingdale, N.Y.) scored a 9.900 on uneven bars and balance beam to win each event en route to a personal-best 39.275 all-around score to propel UNH to a 195.375-194.125 dual meet victory over Yale on Sunday, Jan. 27, at the John J. Lee Amphitheater in New Haven, Conn.
•It was a season-high score for the Wildcats, who improved to 5-1 with their fifth straight win.
•Nicole O'Leary (Newtown, Conn.) and Lauren Diggan (Sinking Spring, Pa.) shared first place on vault (9.750). It was O'Leary's second straight top score on vault.
MULLIGAN NAMED EAGL GYMNAST OF WEEK
•Danielle Mulligan was named EAGL Gymnast of the Week on Tuesday, Jan. 29. The Wildcats have earned EAGL weekly honors for three consecutive weeks, with four different gymnasts garnering the awards. On Jan. 15, Erin Carroll (Kingston., N.H.) won the EAGL Specialist of the Week award. On Jan. 22, Emma Winer (Georgetown, Mass.) earned the EAGL Specialist of the Week and Hannah Baddick (Gettysburg, Pa.) was crowned the EAGL Rookie of the Week.

SCOUTING THE COLONIALS
•In the last meeting between UNH and George Washington, the Wildcats scored a 196.300 to defeat the Colonials at the 2018 EAGL Championship, hosted by Towson. UNH finished runner-up, and GWU placed third in the six-team meet.
•George Washington is on the road for its third straight meet. The Colonials placed third in a tri meet at West Virginia and against Kent State on Jan. 27. On Jan. 26, Pitt edged GWU in a dual meet in Pittsburgh.
•Fifth-year senior Alex Zois has earned the top spot in all-around for each of the Colonials' three meets. Her 38.975 average ranks No. 1 in EAGL.
•Margie Foster-Cunningham is in her 34th year as GWU head coach. The Colonials won the EAGL Championship in 2015, at Towson, and 2017, at NC State.
